What's up, Tezos developers? I hope you and your loved ones are safe in these frightful times. Here is a brief digest of the latest notable events around DipDup.
5.0.1 patch version has been released (opens new window) with a bunch of important stability fixes. We strongly advise you to update your 5.0 and 4.2 instances.
Chain reorgs hit hard on Ithaca mainnet! Make sure to take one of the following actions to avoid indexer downtime. Implement
on_rollbackhook (opens new window), enable lagging TzKT buffer (non-zero
tzktconfig) or/and set up an automatic backup-rollback (opens new window) of DipDup database. In the most extreme case you can even ignore rollbacks (opens new window) completely, but make sure you know what you're doing.
Migration to GitHub Issues (opens new window) from our internal Trello board is finally over. All bug reports and feature requests are now in one place. Come slap a thumbs-up emoji on tickets you find the most important!
User documentation (opens new window) has been significantly rewritten to keep up with recent changes. Please, report any mistakes and inconsistencies you find on GitHub or our socials.
DipDup Community Survey (opens new window) has begun! Our development course is determined solely by community needs, so your feedback is always welcome.
See you next time!
